disaster A levels and why i think i made the right decision. (Friday, November 13, 2009 / 3:00 AM)

A levels was pretty disastrous so far.i think the old dodders at cambridge decided to whack us with crazy ass questions because of their impending retirement where the govt will slash 1/10th of their salary to become Proffesional Summary Counters (still cant believe that they do that for summary,LOL,somehow i tink it is a scare tactic :x) overall i think i chiong-ed through the A level papers unlike doing them in the slow and lackadaisical manner in the O level.A LEVELS REALLY GOT KICK AHHH.

Math paper 1 :\
argh first question dun understand and everyone kp saying tt it is very easy.but the 4th question i jus tot it was a normal qn i dun understand why everyone cannot do tt question i tot it was super straightforward,i jus jumped into the question without thinking.must mean i am weird then,i can only do weird qn....but then i redrew my argand diagram 3 times and wasted alot of time pondering over question 1 plus i didnt really check much,so i am worried about the outcome.
Math Paper 2 :)))))
for the first time in my life my stats is better than my pure.and minimal careless mistakes! good ending to a disastrous week.

Bio Paper 2 :\
cant decide whether it is hard or easy or not,but then essay was like super fricking easy can regurgitate like 3 pgs worth of content even though i read the chapter only once ( yay yay enzymes! :DDD) but load of what i studied didnt come out,though neo's prediction was pretty accurate! except the whole load abt cell signalling and prok and euk expression though.

could do most of it but careless mistakes here and there and everywhere...-.- made a wrong question choice too.only hope that my other papers can pull me up.but then if 40% of NYJC can get an A i hope to get an A also lor.

and now i shall dedicate a whole chapter about how i am self-deluded over why i made the right choice in choosing the fashion essay for GP.i did the is fashion a good or bad thing question...well at least my superficial knowledge came to decent use for once.heh heh.

transport of food question-hell i generally know the gist..food transport= carbon footprint but not enough exact details so i din dare to do.

sci and tech qns were also really hard..like so many requirements in a question...like does EVERY country have the RIGHT to do UNLIMITED scientific research..must bring in politics...nkorea definitely and unlimited also...must put in the dangers of science..possible consequences in wrong hands...and the individual right of each country..ARGH BLOODY DIFFICULT. i wasted 15 minutes planning for the essay and decided i didnt actually dare to do it because i was afraid i wouldnt hit all the requirements.

and poverty..i din really have enough content due to the fact tt most of my research was science and tech based..and those pro people from hci and rjc sure do poverty,and they would be able to write much more fantastic essays than me so why bother.tsk. and the rest of the questions were just out because i didnt like them,hahah. or i was afraid of writing out of point.

and the GP compre was a little weird too.i mean it was testing us on grammar? like the dunno what be is what it may be or sth likedat....to be honest i dont care what it was.it is just cambridge's was of saying HAHAHAH LOSERRS YOU DIDNT UNDERSTAND THE PREVIOUS PARAGRAPH THAT IS WHY YOU CANT ANSWER THIS QUESTION.the passage was so wafty and abt such ambiguous concepts that overlap.hello work and leisure seriously who cares as long as we enjoy ourselves i dun see why we should waste our brain cells deciding what is work or what is leisure living is already a pain in itself.grrr.
