NYJC Prom Night 2009 MTV awards. (Friday, December 4, 2009 / 8:26 PM)
just a quick update before i start my preparation for SYC camp which is like.tommorow really early in the morning..disrupting my nocturnal routine.pictures are on facebook you can go and check them out.
so yeah i went as Lady Gaga..i was quite happy that people actually recognised me as who i was because i didnt think my outfit was all that gaga! i suspect it must have been the crazy sunglasses.one of the highlights of the night was when some random guy approached me and asked to take a photo with lady gaga,was a positively LOL moment.
the food was not bad surprisingly even though i dont like sharks fin -_- but then otherwise ok lor.mdm ainon was a fantabulously bitchy host.and my table (2) kept winning prizes for dunno what.we won abt 2 lucky draw prizes? ( kai jie and sze chien,they still havent told me what the prized were).then me and jlau went on stage to dress up xuan yi in toilet roll and various other rubbish ( i tink sze chien filmed a video of the process,HAHAHA).even though we didnt win the competition( the guy from the physics side won,duh) we still got prize la,some jelly powder thing which was like HUH????? hahah.
the MTV awards theme consisted of us having door gifts of cards with celebrities faces...there were also posters of celebrities stuck on the wall which we could bring home.jem and jonathan chionged to help me rip down a poster of Gaga until they realized that i had already run across the room to take down another poster of her! hahahah then i had to lug 2 posters home.thanks guys anyway!
i think everyone looked gorgeous that day ( I STILL THINK I LOOK LIKE A TRANSVESTITE WITH MAKEUP AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO SMILE FOR PHOTOS8)).sharons makeup was total mega epic bondage goth O.O zhiwen's hair was really pretty and glittery! melanie was stunning and sassy,jlau and kaijie were totally raving over her,renyi totally couldnt recognize her with that crazy hair and makeup.jlaus outfit was totally funky also haha purple and green! kaijie look v shuai also with his nice hair and outfit.jeremy look like gangster lol but look quite good anyway,he demanded to try on my sunglasses after bursting out laughing when he saw them.weijians outfit was so cool too,like a total classic suit except that the bottom was shorts instead of long pants.and some of the girls look totally gorgeous too,espc some of the ones dressed in red.
took photos with as many people as i could then when prom was over went to orchard to walk walk with jlau kajie zhiwen and chong chao(did i spell it correctly?).didnt go for post prom as no one i knew was going went LOL...i made alot of ridiculous poses with the stuff on the streets i have a feeling that i am going to regret them haha.
overall,prom was a tad pricey but extremely fun!
