my mom told me if i really wanted to study medicine she would sell the flat.lol.
the bishan masionette( block 286,mine is block 287) beside my block sold for a record of 900,000.if i dont rmb wrongly our flat sold for 500,000 and market prices are on the rise lets hope they continue rising.we wont live beside our grandparents anymore, but hopefully some where near.

my options now.
1) join michelle in new zealand to study medicine/health sciences in uni of auckland
I estimated the costs around 350,000

2) my neighbour said tt nz is not good for med her colleagues usually come from aussie universities.UK is expensive, even though with my results i can probably get into a uni better than NUS for medicine,it is not my fault everyone here is so smart. so she advised uni of melbourne or flinders.I read that they are offering grants for students studying medicine overseas so as to attract them back to SG ( about time dont you think) so i guess it would make it more attractive :)

3)continue with law in SMU/NUS ( i am marginally more confident of doing better in law than medicine for interview) and see if i like it.i spoke to some students at the open house it quite discouraged me over taking law as some of them are disillusioned as well.

4) make up for my disastrous interview with a awesome essay and enter NUS med ( the best option but unlikely)
