to prospective medical students:
1) do up your portfolio if you are certain if getting shortlisted(one, maximum two Bs,the rest must be As guranteed, especially for BCM) because if you wait until you get shortlisted, you only have 2-3 FREAKING DAYS to do it.which is something that happened to me precisely cos i dont follow my own advice.
2) forewarn your targets about the referee letters( siew was on leave until the deadline :O oh noes just nice lor)luckily i kindasorta did it and there is this online referral thingy.
3) Prepare to make a trip down to NUS i foresee that the front office will be clogged as there is so limited time...
4) check your mailbox because they wont call you.they are not as nice as SMU.frankly i feel that they are trying to disqualify as many students as possible before sieving out the more doctor-inclined ones.
5) check your printer is spoilt/run out of ink or not.AND STAPLE YOUR STUFF IN THE CORRECT ORDER NOT LIKE ME WHO HAS TO RESTAPLE EVERYTHING AGAIN.GAAAH.
..please do notmake the same stupid blunders as me -_-
chionged out a personal statement that was said by some friends to be particularly touching.people who want to have a look at it email/sms/pm me :) and tell me your opinions.alrd printed out so prob no changes.
interview on thursday morning, ugh clashing with my guitar lessons again just like SMU law interview -.-
funny though that i was shortlisted for NUS med but not NUS law. maybe it is a law year, the COP is higher.geddit? law year=lawyer???? HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAH!!!!! damn,it must have been from watching too much annoying orange.but honestly though i think it is because they didnt want to spare too much manpower in the interviews? this one i not sure.
