law camp I (Thursday, June 10, 2010 / 8:55 AM)
law camp has been awesome so far,loads of great people in my OG and i dont see any of the elitist shit i was warned abt XD definitely memorable.it really questioned my intentions to read law and showcased the best and worst sides of law school.there were laugh-out-loud moments and shit-in-your-pants scary parts,but it is no use describing them,youll have to experience it yourself to get what it really feels like.
had to leave at the end of the second day though cos of work :( wished the whole day tt i was there with them.and looked like =.= the whole day cos i was damn shagged ( didnt sleep well for the whole week cos of late sleeping at 2-3am? not too sure why must get my sleep cycle back on track.going back tmr cos i miss my OG too much and for the formal dinner which im kinda looking forward too though it will be weird cos like we are dressing up to go to school but nehmind got style can le.
got a new fuji instax recently,contemplated for quite awhile before getting it cos im not one of those people crazy about photography and the cost of the film is just plain scary,it is like a stab to my wallet with every flash of the photograph.and if the photo turns out like shit THERE IS NO TURNING BACK :( wasted a couple of films due to wrong exposure u can just FEEL my heart breaking.but otherwise i choose it over digicam any day * winks* the feel of instant shiokness is just satisfying to me.
was deciding btwn blue and pink ( rather lamely i might add cos i just stood there and uhh-ed and umm-ed,so awkward.and the china auntie was giving me that sian face while i took my own sweet time deciding.) auntie finally psycho-ed me to choose pink though im more known for my blue-ness D:photos will be up when i have time,it is interesting to see how the shots look like,some may be darker or lighter than u think and in one self portrait ( read: cam whore ) i had some brown splash that looked suspiciously like a shit worm beside my innocently smiling face.

so here is myu eva luation after taking a few shots.
be prepared to sacrifice a few test shots.heart pain ahhhh~~~
camera is cheap compared to digital cameras but film is super expensice grr.like $1.25 flies away for every shot :( im still trying to figure out the settings relative to the environment,it really isnt as easy as it looks.oh man really getting my just deserts for suaning photography as not being an art before lol.
buy from j8 the kodak there actually quite cheap lei,i mean for a shopping centre as compared to online,like $119 for a pack of film + the camera,the auntie if she likes u will get a free album( YAY) and help you set up the camera and teach u to use it.online is like supposed to be cheap,but not worth the risk and the ripoff :/
u cant undo the picture -.- so you better get a good shot there!but the unexpectedness and the feeling of shiokness when the film develops is just undescribable.i think it is really worth the cash!
