someone please explain to me why i like taylor swift.
i talk about her quite frequently with my friends,have her pretty face as my handphone wallpaper( in a pretty turquoise dress with gold dust *.*)
and skill wise even her manager/producer/director declared that she CANNOT SING.granted her voice is quite breathy and squeaky compared to her album track version and most of her songs can be played in a few simple chords,the strumming technique is nowhere near as refined as jason mraz or john mayer ( guitar gods *worship*)
and is something wrong with those marketing producers.she is so NOT COUNTRY.i mean,in a couple of tracks there is an evident country-ish feel in the background tracks like "our song" but you belong with me is DEFINITELY NOT COUNTRY.
the lyrics are even more ridiculous than high school musical! ( i watched high school musical 1 & 2,refused to pay money to watch the third one and will only watch the fourth one if it features zac and vanessa being destroyed in an alien vs predator menace )
but anyway i think her appeal lies in her soulful lyrics,her sincere and clean image and her appeal to the lingering desire in our hearts for when we can sing "today is a fairytale".on the other hand,ppl might think what the **** is she talking abt this makes no sense.LOL.
so anyway that would be all for now.
