boring classical guitar post (Wednesday, July 21, 2010 / 11:22 PM)

i got a merit for my grade 5 though i failed the aural part terribly cos i couldnt understand wtheck the examiner was talking abt,my teacher taught me the aural part in a different format so for most of it i just went like HUH??! :) but mostly im fine because i didnt screw it up like grade 3-.- well next is tackling the nokia waltz, bach minuet in C and prep for grd 8 perhaps within the next 2-3years,i need some time to just enjoy my guitar and build on my foundation.
so in four years time i would be graduating with a diploma and a degree in law! :D depending on my level of laziness i probably take a really long time to catch up on music theory which has gone down the drain.
recently changed my strings, been an absolute nuisance cos my silver strings go out of tune really easily :( thanks heavens i have an electronic tuner.well at least it isnt a piano which is really expensive to tune,HA HA HA HA to all piano players out there ( which happen to be *ahem* alot of my friends)
CCA-wise i dont think i will be pursuing it in NUS?cos i find alot of guitarists to be really arrogant (hence the CO in junior college and the NPCC in secondary school).and i see it more as a hobby than as a performance thing.and some more for NUS it is a niborii guitar ensemble ( like they have different sizes of guitar for a diff octave range i think, interesting i guess but i dont know if it is to my liking.and im not trying to show off,but then most people just go in with no background and i may just end up sitting there looking bored while the rest build up on their foundational skills, might as well use the time to prep for high grade exams or join another CCA :P)
