law school (Saturday, September 4, 2010 / 3:48 AM)

this is omfg jealousy-.- our celebrity hairstylist david gan ( gay or not,i shall nt comment, with a bald head a la ex biology teacher gary neo) i want also! *coughfriendscough*
im trying to get myself in a good pace for studying because
1) all the tutors have grown on me.i mean, initially i went in like "please dont pick me to talk please dont pick me to talk.." but ive acclimatized to the diff styles of the teachers, some is free for all liek my lawr class, some is the teacher will randomly pick on u ( more pressurizing IMO,cos everyones attention is on you, then if you not really sure about your answer you will lag the class and feel bad) but i think im lucky so far as the teachers who have adopted the latter approach kindly prompt us instead of slaughtering us.
ive realized as long as you know your stuff and basic concepts, tutorials wont be as pressurizing.i find myself wanting to talk and contribute to the class more.this sounds like the virtues of problem based learning or some shit but yeah i think ive more or less gotten used to tuts.
2) previously SLS i didnt talk much ( except for the time i was late and prof beckman demanded me to answer and called me "green glasses" LOL and the time i asked a very lame question about north korea) hopefully i got more things to ask the next lesson and get like at least 1/5 for class participation.i havent yet gotten used to talking with more than a tut-sized audience, and knowing me there is a high chance that something stupid would come out of my mouth ( somehow when i talk the transmitters diffuse too quickly across the neurosynapses and dont pass through the brain at all)
3) i have realized once youve done a couple of high profile things like do silly things/talk alot/wear the same polo tee every day/wear a silly hat during lecture, you tend to get recognized by the entire cohort cos we are so small!i wonder how many people know me so far,i dont think ive been that high profile or did anything...but considernig hw we are gonna switch classes every year/sem i think we will more or less know everyone in the law cohort by the end of law school,at least by face.cheers to future colleagues/competitors/opponents in court.
4) moots are terrifying and i still speak in a monotone.lol.
